Banana Cake
This cake is so deceivingly innocent and unassuming, but the flavor is so big and the cake is so moist (ugh, but it is). You will wonder what you have been doing all your life without banana cake.
I had a bunch of ripe bananas in my freezer that I have been waiting to do something with. I debated on trying the Chrissy Teigen banana bread that was floating around the interwebs, but wasn't feeling a normal old banana bread. Instead I tried a super simple banana cake. And it turned out that this cake is now probably one of my top 5 favorite cakes I've ever had. And I've had a lotta cake.
I handed this cake out to anyone that came over and it was unanimous that this little cake of mine is blog worthy. My stepdad even texted and asked if there was any more left and let me know that he wanted this for his birthday cake forever now.
Also, in the time I went to let our dog out, Leah Kate climbed on her stool by the counter, and helped herself to a giant handful. Afterward, she literally said "mmmmm." It was really cute.
I am definitely adding this to the Easter menu this year, I can't wait for everyone to fall in love with it like I did. Give this a try and let me know if you think it's one incredible cake too.
