Sweet and Salty Snack Mix

Did you guys grow up eating Honey Combs cereal? I never did. I was more of a Capn' Crunch with Berries type of girl, that leftover cereal milk was legit. Of course, now we are a Cheerios family because apparently Capn' Crunch is frowned upon for health reasons. Whatever.  Seriously though, Honey Combs are delicious and I am very excited to finish off the box. And now I want Capn' Crunch with berries, or basically just the berries and the cereal milk.

We went to the lake the other week and I usually make a batch of Chex Mix to take with us to snack in the car and on the boat. I wanted to try something a little different this time and I found this recipe at Taste of Home and I am a sucker for a sweet and salty mix. The ingredients seem weird, but trust me it's perfection. Combo of soy sauce and sugar and garlic, it's amazing and addicting. Perfect mix of sweet and salty.

This stuff was gone pretty quickly so I made a smaller batch the next weekend because basically I just wanted some that I didn't have to share with multiple people. This recipe makes a ton, but you can half it pretty easily.
