What childhood (and big kids) dreams are made of! Your favorite Ice Cream flavors plus your favorite cereals together to make a perfect sweet treat!
Cereal always makes me think of my childhood. Getting up on Saturday mornings, choosing which cereal I wanted (Capn’ Crunch with Berries), add some milk and park myself in front of the tv for some Saturday morning cartoons. It’s basically what dreams are made of.
So the other day when I was making a Ice Cream Sundae Bar it occurred to me that cereal makes great toppings for ice cream. Why not have a whole theme of cereal as the toppings? Grab your favorite cereals (like the good stuff you always wanted as a kid kind of stuff)
Then you can set up a station with a variety of Hiland Dairy Ice Cream flavors. The BEST ice cream! Definitely get the Salted Caramel Espresso and top it with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. You’re welcome.
Super easy to do and will be a huge hit that is a lot of fun with lots of talk of memories about your favorite childhood cereals.

Ingredients:
Hiland Dairy Ice Cream, variety of flavors
Favorite cereals (Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Capn' Crunch, Trix, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Puffs, Lucky Charms, etc)
Ice Cream Toppings: Fudge, caramel, strawberry sauce, marshmallow creme, cherries
Instructions:
Set up a station with bowls/jars filled with all the cereals. Use this as an excuse to buy all the cereals your parents wouldn't get you as a kid.
Then another station with Hiland Dairy Ice Cream cartons, an ice cream scoop, bowls and spoons. Also, don't forget the toppings.
Let everyone create a sundae with their favorite cereal and ice cream. Success!
